Act II The Sneak does minimal recon. Learns that there are four bandits hanging out in front of a cave sharpening their scimitars in broad daylight. They have a bear in a wooden cage, presumably from the cave. The Sneak asks party what he should do. Party suggests he come back to the group and tell all he's seen and then help make a plan. Sneak declines to return to group who didn't see which way he went. Decides to engage all 4 bandits at once. Trusts in his 19 dex at lvl 1... Oh right, we're at lvl 1 for the record. Successfully sneaks up to bandits. Attempts to disarm one of them. Manages to snatch the scimitar out of bandit's hands. Gloats, and does happy dance. Forgets the other three armed bandits. Is suddenly grappled by the disarmed bandit. Goes down because dex over strength. Other three bandits take turns stabbing the shit out of him. Kat Grrl and I watch as this plays out. DM grants us one more check to find the trail. The Sneak begins bleeding out. DM mercifully allows the Sneak Death Saves instead of outright killing him in this context.
