Trama Stanchi di relazioni sentimentali che portano solo problemi e che finiscono nel peggiore dei modi, Jamie (Mila Kunis) e Dylan (Justin Timberlake), un giornalista a cui lei stessa ha procurato lavoro presso un'importante testata, decidono di aggiungere del pepe al loro rapporto di amicizia e di praticare tra loro del buon sesso senza ulteriori complicazioni ogni qualvolta che ne abbiano voglia. Dopo un paio di incontri, Jamie si rende conto che è il momento per entrambi di cominciare a vedere qualcun altro e provare a costruire qualcosa di serio, sottovalutando il livello di conoscenza che i due hanno raggiunto. Note Il gioco metacinematografico è scoperto e continuo, e per metà film viene anche voglia di divertirsi: Kunis e Timberlake hanno una bella chimica e dialoghi veloci e pungenti, i comprimari di lusso (Patricia Clarkson, Woody Harrelson e Richard Jenkins) regalano momenti esilaranti. Poi il lieto fine arriva, telefonatissimo e risaputo, e il presunto spirito iconoclasta di Gluck si rivela un clamoroso bluff: smontare la Favola pare ancora un tabù.
