Future Man Season 3
After AMC's adaptation of beloved comic book series Preacher was renewed and canceled last year, Future Man has met the same fate at Hulu. The time-travelling comedy series, which also comes from Preacher 's producing duo of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, along with their Sausage Party pals Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir, will return for a third season before retiring with all its loose ends tied up (we hope). Future Man stars Hunger Games actor Josh Hutcherson as a slacker gamer who gets pulled out of his day job as a janitor to save the world from extinction by time travellers Wolf and Tiger (Derek Wilson and Eliza Coupe), and season two recently left things on a bit of a cliffhanger – messing with time for the good of humankind hasn't quite worked in the team's favour, it turns out. Haley Joel Osment joined the cast for season 2 in a key role, and we spoke to him about it on our interview podcast, The Fourth Wall. Future man season 3.2
Future Man has one more season ahead of it, and Hulu has finally revealed the premiere date for season three of the series. The series will arrive in April with all eight episodes landing at once. Hulu revealed the following about the plot of the final season of Future Man: "Convicted of time crimes and sentenced to death by entertainment, Josh, Tiger, and Wolf become fugitives, on the run through time, trying desperately to evade capture while clearing their names and fixing the big mess of history they've made along the way. Future Man stars Josh Hutcherson, Eliza Coupe, and Derek Wilson. The series is created and executive produced by Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir and directed by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg.
