Il film è in dieta in sceneggiatura, parca di trovate nonostante trasferte Parigi-Kenya-Russia e, soprattutto, soffre d'impressionante prevedibilità. Autore: Alessandra Levantesi Kezich Il pretesto è davvero poco plausibile, però gli interpreti funzionano: che Boon sia un bravo comico si sapeva, ma la versatilità sul registro di commedia della Kruger ci ha piacevolmente sorpreso. Autore: Luca Mosso Isabelle (Diane Kruger) è bellissima, algida e fidanzata con un uomo apparentemente perfetto, Jean-Yves (Dany Boon), uno sfigato rompiballe che non smette mai di parlare di sé: per farli convolare a più o meno giuste nozze facendoci nel contempo divertire, Pascal Chaumeil e i suoi sceneggiatori si inventano un'improbabile e macchinosa cornice narrativa e scaraventano i due prima in Africa e quindi a Mosca, organizzando le loro schermaglie su variazioni speculari dello stesso schema di corteggiamento. In realtà, anche se l'iniziativa è sempre di Isabelle, il canonico crescendo di umiliazioni tocca regolarmente a Jean-Yves che, anche quando cerca di sfuggire, non può nascondere la direzione del suo desiderio.

Il trasferimento in HD non è all'altezza dell'alta definizione, e scadente, e l'edizione in DVD ancora peggio. Devo dire che è molto meglio l'edizione 4:3 del DVD di alcuni anni fa che questa; un consiglio, chi c'è l'ha se la tenga stretta. Cara EAGLE, per questa edizione, sono rimasto molto deluso.
